Privacy Policy

This “Privacy Policy” has been prepared by SIRA S.p.A. with registered office at Via della Resistenza, 53, 20090, Buccinasco (MI), henceforth “the Company and/or the Holder”, pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of European Regulation no. 679 of 2016 (“GDPR”), in order to describe the way in which www.sira-spa.com (the “Site“) and the services made available, through the Site (the “Services“) are managed in relation to the processing of personal data of users consulting the Site and/or using the Services (the “Users“). This information is provided only for the Site and not also for other websites that may be consulted by the User through links.

1. PERSONAL DATA COLLECTION AND PURPOSE

1.1 Site Registration

Browsing the Site is free and can take place without any prior registration, however, it is advisable for the user to read the security policies prepared by the Owner, in the appropriate section (“Cookie policy”).
In order to use the Services made available to Users, they are required to register in a dedicated section of the Site (“contacts” or “work with us”), or to send an e-mail to one of the company contacts indicated by the site.
By consenting to the use of their personal data, the user allows the Company to respond to requests in case of sending a resume and/or send new business proposals in the cases provided for by Directive 2002/58/EC and receive communications also by e-mail, to the e-mail address indicated by the User.

2. FACULTY OF DATA PROVISION

Providing the personal data described above is optional, however, failure to do so may result in the Company being unable to follow up on Users’ requests.

Personal data are also processed with the aid of automated tools for the time strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which they were collected and, in any case, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, correctness, nonexcessiveness and relevance provided for by current privacy legislation.

In its capacity as Data Controller, the company has appointed “Personal Data Processors” or “Persons Authorized to Process Personal Data” (“Data Processors”), the personnel assigned for this purpose to collect, record and more generally process such data. The data are, therefore, processed exclusively by personnel, including technical personnel, in charge of the processing or by any person in charge of maintenance operations and/or updating/improvement of the Site itself, according to the principles of correctness, lawfulness, transparency, relevance and non-excessiveness with respect to the purposes of collection and subsequent processing.
The database can only be accessed by authorized parties through ways that guarantee its protection and confidentiality, thanks to the adoption of security measures prepared to prevent data loss, illicit and/or incorrect use and unauthorized access.

3.3 Treatment in general

The Data Controller uses Users’ data in accordance with the choices that the User has freely exercised through his or her consent, at the time of their collection or thereafter, as well as to comply with obligations under the law, regulations or EU directives.

3.4 Processing operations subject to consent, communication and dissemination of data

In order to perfectly fulfill the activities requested by the Users, the Company may disclose the data, which have been provided by the Users, to third parties, External Data Processors, entrusted with the performance of certain activities, such as by way of example but not limited to, carrying out the specific requests of the User.

Users’ data will never be disseminated.

3.5 Links to external content

The Site may connect or direct you to other external sites, services, social networks or content that are beyond the control of the Company. Once the User has left the Site, the Company cannot safeguard the security of Users’ personal information and be held responsible for the protection and privacy of any personal information that the User may have provided on the other sites.

5. USERS’ RIGHTS

In accordance with the provisions of Art. From 15 to 22 of the GDPR, the user will be able to:
(a) request confirmation of the accuracy of their personal data;
(b) obtain information about the purposes of the processing, the categories of personal data, the recipients or categories of recipients to whom the personal data have been or will be disclosed, and, when possible, the retention period;
(c) obtain rectification and deletion of data;
(d) obtain restriction of processing;
(e) object to the processing at any time.
(f) revoke consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of the processing based on the consent given before revocation;
(g) file a complaint with the supervisory authority

6. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY

Notwithstanding the fact that the Data Controller does not carry out any processing operations other than those expressly authorized and/or requested by each User, this policy may be made subject to changes to comply with new legal provisions or changed data processing policies.
Any updated version of this Privacy Policy will be made available on the Site in the dedicated section; therefore, the Owner invites all Users to periodically consult the Site in order to be always informed of the latest version uploaded.
